  4. Christ’s response to observing suffering (Matthew 9:36)

Questions For Greater Discussion

  1. Can you think of a situation in your life where someone showed compassion to you and met you in a moment of need? Please share

  2. What is your response when you see suffering or hardship in the lives of people? Quick to care and desire to meet the needs or quick to look away and ignore? Be honest with one another!

  3. You see a panhandler on the side of the road asking for money. What should your response be as a believer?

  4. How aware are you of poverty and gospel needs among unreached people? What is one way you want to grow in your awareness?

  5. What are some ways you need to grow in your compassion towards others?
