As the church body, we are to display the love of Jesus to the hurting people in our community. We want to show mercy by being engaged in the hands and feet of Jesus to meet tangible needs and walk alongside the suffering: the homeless, orphans, widows, and the poor. (James 2:13-17 & Matthew 25:40)
At UBC, the Mercy Ministry seeks to prayerfully lead, equip, and mobilize our church family to demonstrate Christ’s love through acts of service. We focus on meeting tangible needs within our community, reflecting God’s mercy in practical ways. By getting involved, you become part of a compassionate team dedicated to making a meaningful difference. Join us as we serve together and share the hope of Christ through mercy.
Providing tangible assistance to pro-life and pregnancy resource initiatives in our community to show love and support including offering meals, practical resources, words of encouragement, and time with those who may feel overwhelmed in their circumstances.

Coming alongside vulnerable children and the families who welcome them by offering a wrap around, individualized model of holistic care to foster and adoptive families.

Demonstrating Biblical hospitality, compassion, and sharing the love of Christ with those from around the world that have come to the Miami Valley as refugees, immigrants, and visitors, including those from unreached people groups.
