Jesus called His church to go into the world, He did not call the world to come to church. Here at UBC, we want to GO and help people become wholehearted followers of Jesus who know Him and make Him known (Matthew 28:18-20).
As believers, we are called to go and share the gospel with the people around us. (Acts 1:8 and Romans 10:14-15). We are called to share the good news about Jesus with our friends, neighbors, and worldwide.
As believers, we are called to offer our time (Romans 12:15), talents (1 Corinthians 12:4 & 7), and treasures (Galatians 6:6) as worshipful gifts to the Lord. We are called believers to send and equip our brothers and sisters so that they, too, may share the good news with the people around them.
As believers, we are called to pray for the lost to come to know Christ (Luke 19:10 and 2 Peter 3:9), for workers to go into the harvest (Matthew 9:37-38), and for our brothers and sisters who are currently sharing and progressing the name of Christ (Ephesians 6:19-20).
In Jesus, we are blessed to be a blessing to all people groups both in our city and around the world. That’s why at UBC, we also prioritize giving opportunities to every believer to make Jesus known using their unique gifts and passions in local initiatives. Get to know UBC supported missionaries serving across 5 continents. United by a passion to see a multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language come to know and follow Jesus (Revelation 7:9), they are faithfully making Him known around the world.
Mission work in North America focuses on reaching a post-Christian culture with the hope of the gospel through church planting, campus ministry, and outreach to diverse communities. In a land of spiritual freedom and growing spiritual need, missionaries are helping people rediscover Jesus.
Mission work in Central and South America seeks to strengthen the church through discipleship, gospel clarity, and compassion-driven outreach in the midst of deep social and spiritual need. With hearts open to Christ and growing indigenous leadership, missionaries are working to see Christ-centered communities flourish.
Mission work in Europe focuses on reawakening hearts to the gospel in a post-Christian culture through church planting, relational ministry, and outreach to diverse immigrant communities. In a region rich in Christian history yet marked by spiritual apathy, missionaries are helping people rediscover the hope of Christ.
Mission work in Africa is shaped by its vast cultural and linguistic diversity, a rapidly growing yet often syncretized Christian faith, and the presence of many unreached people groups. It offers opportunities for holistic ministry and partnering with indigenous churches to make Christ known across the continent.
Mission work in Asia involves reaching the world’s most spiritually unreached populations amid deep religious diversity, persecution, and restricted access. Through creative outreach and partnerships with local believers, seeds of the gospel are being planted where Christ is least known.
