If you want victory over your sin, you need Jesus
If you have Jesus, than you have his church…so fight sin with Jesus’ Church!
Jason said, “sin is like a growing entrapment that ensnares us.” How has sin caught you in the past? (Use discernment in discussion here please but be vulnerable if you can)
6:1 says, “you who are spiritual should restore him.” What does it mean in this text to “be spiritual?” How should that determine our accountability practices?
What is the difference in accountability with restoration in mind vs accountability without restoration in mind?
Why is gentleness imperative in the fight against sin together?
“Keep watch on yourself unless you too become tempted.” How can we become ensnared ourselves through trying to bear other’s burdens?
Consider 1 Corinthians 5. Why does the Bible call for swift action against growing sin in the church?
What is the law of Christ and why does it compel us to hold one another to standards of righteousness?
If someone in the church is unwilling to fight apparent areas of sin, what should your response be to this individual?
How do you need to open your life up more to those who can help you fight the sin in your heart?
Besides your spouse, who is the person in your life who helps you fight sin?
