The God Who is Full of Steadfast Love

with Laura White

  • Rachel has dedicated many days to homeschooling and teaching an adjunct class for women at Cedarville University. Her passion for teaching comes from her desire to love God and others, recognizing that when we experience God's love, it enriches our relationships and glorifies Him.

Rachel also serves as UBC Director of Women’s Ministries, overseeing efforts to help women pursue biblical womanhood and ensure they receive biblically based care to deepen their relationship with Christ.

When she's not teaching, Rachel enjoys outdoor activities, especially hiking in the mountains, with her family: her husband, Jeremy (22 years), daughter Hannah (18), and son Jonathan (16).

  • Laura is a Bible teacher with a passion to equip women to know and love God through His Word. She is a pastor’s wife, mother of five, and the Director of Women’s Discipleship at Harvest Church in Carmel, Indiana.

Laura has a heart for loving her family, discipling women, and speaking at churches around the country.

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

Breakout Sessions

From Feminist to Housewife:

Why Neither Truly Satisfies the Biblical Calling for Women

Passages like Proverbs 31, can leave us with feelings of overwhelming anxiety, exhaustion, and fear over the seemingly insurmountable expectations. This can lead to one of two responses. Some of us attempt to accomplish the task of “biblical womanhood” by whatever means necessary- breaking our backs, enduring crippling perfectionism, or sometimes even by living a total facade. Others of us, instead, reject the very Word of God, claiming this can’t possibly be what God wants for us and subconsciously embracing the feminist worldview of our surrounding culture. In both cases, we have missed what it truly means to be a woman of God. In this workshop, you will rediscover what it means to be a godly woman and the joy that comes with it.

  • Skyler was raised in Dayton, Ohio, in an unbelieving family. At the age of 22, she encountered God in a profound way, laid aside her old life, and put her faith in Christ. Since then, she has pursued theological education at Cedarville University, married, and served on staff at UBC for several years as the Tech Team Specialist. Recently, she and her husband, Bryson Jackson, have branched out from UBC to plant Gospel Heights Church, where she now leads the Hospitality Team.

Marriage:

A Covenant

We will move beyond the modern conceptions of what marriage is and delve into an understanding of marriage as a Biblical covenant. Your marriage was meant to be so much more than a contract. This high view of marriage as God-ordained and not you-ordained has implications for our intimacy, forgiveness, and conflict.

  • Jessica has a deep passion for hermeneutics, the study of the Bible, which she acknowledges may sound nerdy, but has been profoundly impactful for her personal journey.

After a challenging time in her life, she met a woman who taught her to read and study the Bible effectively. She believes in the transformative power of God's word and is dedicated to helping other women overcome intimidation to explore the Bible's depth for their spiritual growth.

Jessica and her husband John have been married for eight years and have a family of five. They enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, bike riding, and playing at the park.

Biblical Lament:

Finding Hope in the Pain

Are you struggling with the pain of grief, disappointment, loss of a relationship, or fear? The Bible can give voice to our pain and struggles while at the same time pointing us to God. Londa will share Biblical examples of lament as well as her own stories of loss, grief, and finding hope.

  • Londa is a former military wife who has lived all over the world. She is a mother and a grandmother, with experience serving in women's ministries at military chapels and local churches as a leader, event speaker, and Bible study teacher.

She is passionate about the concept of lament, as her journey of learning to trust God through significant losses has allowed her to discover hope even in the midst of pain.

In her free time, Londa enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, traveling, and studying the Bible

Testing for Truth:

Bible Study to Change Lives

The Bereans were considered noble, not because of their ancestry, but because they diligently sought to know truth by going to the Scriptures in comparing Paul’s (of all people!) teaching with what they studied in the OT. And the Holy Spirit, as Christ promised in John 16:7-14, helped the Bereans understand the truth of Paul’s teaching. Reading the Bible is admirable…studying the Bible is life-changing.

  • Kathy has known Christ as her Savior since 1957 and has been a devoted student of God's Word since high school and college.  She has served in both children's and women's ministries since 1969.

In 1972, she married a godly man and raised three children. Sadly, she became a widow in 2014. Now, she is a disciple to her twelve grandchildren as they enter adulthood. She believes strongly in the power of prayer.

Are You Seeing This?

Finding God in a Distraction Culture

What if the distractions in your life aren’t holding you back–what if they’re leading you somewhere? We rush. We scroll. We carry the weight of too many things at once, and we call it distraction. But maybe the One who made you knows exactly where your mind wanders, and He’s already there. If you’ve been trying to get back your moments in a culture built on distraction, this session is for you. We don’t need to try harder; we need to see differently. This is an invitation to reframe the noise, fix our eyes on Jesus, and live awake to His voice in the ordinary, holy moments.

  • Anna Grace Miller is an author and business owner with over a decade of experience helping brands and ministries share their stories in a noisy world. Whether she’s marketing for a client, photographing on the mission field, or coloring on the floor with her two little girls, Anna is passionate about helping others notice God’s presence in the ordinary and embracing life with eyes wide open.

Discipleship:

The Lies We Believe and the Truths that Will Guide and Equip Us

The lies we believe and truths that will guide and equip us as we tackle the answers to: Why should I care about discipline? Where do I start? Who should I be discipling? What should I do? When do I do this?

  • Sandy, with her husband Jim, is passionate about partnering and planting churches through short-term trips by training, equipping, and mobilizing. She helps facilitate trips through e3 Partners. Sandy is also deeply passionate about discipling and guiding women of all ages and stages.

When Sandy & Jim aren’t serving on the mission field, they love spending time with their two children and six grandchildren.

Walking Each Other Home:

Helping and Healing Through Pornography Struggles

Pornography touches more lives than we often realize, bringing shame and silence. This workshop offers a safe, grace-filled space for women who are struggling or walking alongside someone who is. Together, we’ll explore biblical hope and practical tools for healing and freedom in Christ.

  • Jen desires to offer hope and healing by using biblical and practical tools to navigate life in a fallen world. She seeks to support others in embracing the gospel daily, walking in faith, and bearing fruit from God's work in their lives.

Jen works full-time in the Counseling Services department at Cedarville University (2022) as an LPCC and part-time as an administrative assistant for the Missions and Mercy Ministry at UBC (2024).

Jen and her husband, Glen, are parents to four amazing sons (Ethan, Sawyer, Owen, and Hudson) and one daughter-in-law (Anna).
