Chocolate Peanut Butter Bark
by Haley Gammie
Ingredients:
1 lb white chocolate
1 lb jar chunky peanut butter 1 lb chocolate
Instructions:
1. In a large, non-stick pot, melt white chocolate and peanut butter together on low heat. Constantly stir until lumps are fully melted and mixture is smooth.
2. Pour the peanut butter mixture evenly over a cookie sheet covered with wax paper. Use a rubber spatual to even it out if you need to.
3. In a medium, non-stick pot, melt chocolate over low heat. If you are worried about burning the chocolate, take a glass bowl and set it on top of a pot of bowling water. The steam from the water will melt the chocolate more slowly and has a lot lower chance of burning.
4. Using a rubber spatula or metal sppon, scoop the melted choclate out of the bowl in small incraments and drizzle it onto the melted peanut butter mixture in parallel lines.
5. Use the knife to gently pull some peanut butter back across the chocolate. Don’t overdo it. You don't want to mix them together too much. It may look a bit chaotic now—trust the process!
6. Starting in the top-left corner, drag your knife in one continuous up- and-down motion across the pan to make vertical lines, shifting right as you go. Then repeat the pattern horizontally.
7. Let stand in freezer for at least 1 hr until hardened and then break into pieces. Keep cold (ideally in the freezer) until ready to eat.
